Airbnb Houses are Business Premises

In its decision dated 14 February 2020 , the Supreme Administrative Tribunal of the Czech Republic has ruled against a landlord who carried out short-term rentals in a weekend house in contravention of trade regulations - specifically failing to report the house to the local authorities as ‘business premises’.

Justice JUDr. Tomás Rychlý, a Bohemian judge known for sound and well-argued verdicts, sat in the bench for this decision, which is likely to affect Airbnb schemes , too.
